Frequently Asked Questions

Some of the questions I get asked most, if this doesn’t assist you, do not hesitate to contact me..

  • Are you willing to travel?

I am based in East Riding of Yorkshire, But am willing to and often travel up and down the UK, as well as taking on many destination weddings all over the world.

Transport & accommodation coverage is to be negotiated with the bride & groom for any weddings further than 1 hour driving radius.

  • What about destination weddings?

My love of travel and shooting wedding combined..  PERFECT!

The packages are priced exactly the same for a destination wedding, all I ask is that you cover travel, accommodation and very basic expenses. We can discuss this in detail over email or the phone.

  • How do we book you?

Easiest way to book me is to use my contact form to let me know when your wedding is and ask my availability – alternatively you can message me on any social media platform or call me.

Once you contact me I will reply firstly letting you know if I am available, once we establish that I will then discuss the package you’ve requested and discuss any additional requirements to get a complete quote and agreement in place with you.

Once everything is good, I’ll then send over a deposit invoice which confirms the booking in my diary and books me for your big day.

  • What happens once we book you?

Once the booking is confirmed I will leave you get excited about your big day and plan everything else, Knowing that your booking with me is confirmed.

I will then be in contact with you 6-4 weeks before the big date just to confirm everything with you and ask for the running order and any alterations or special requests I need to know of before the big day.

30 days before the wedding I will invoice you for the balance that is outstanding on your package costs, Once this is settled we are all set for the big day.

On the date of your wedding I will arrive in good time and be approachable and punctual at all times.

  • When do we pay?

£50 of your booking fee is taken as a deposit to secure the date, The remaining amount is due 30 days before your wedding in all cases with no exceptions, failure to pay your package will result in cancellation of booking.

  • Can we meet you before we book you?

Meeting up to discuss your big day is absolute fine.. Coffee is on you though! 😉

I reside in the East Riding of Yorkshire so if a meeting is required, they are to take place in and around a 5 mile radius of Willerby where I live.

In most cases the bride and groom deems a meeting is not required but I can offer this for anyone who wants one if it puts ease of mind on the bride and groom or additional requirements are to be discussed.

Alternatively phone calls, skype meetings and such are available if distance is an issue.

  • When do we receive the finished work?

I endeavour to turn my work around 7 days after the wedding, whilst celebrations are still in full spirit – in peak summer wedding season it may be up to 14 days, only in rare occasions have I not got the final product over within 7 days.

  • Are you insured?

I am insured with full public liability upto £1m, equipment is fully insured globally to theft, accidental damage and also aerial photography insurance is available if required.

  • Are you unobtrusive during the wedding ceremony?

I am always as discreet, low key and have been described by clients as some what ninja.

Most ceremony venues only allow the creative team to stand in certain places and I always respect this.

On the odd occasion there will be a small amount of moments where the cameras are more prominent, however without that you wouldn’t have a beautiful wedding film!

I always dress to the code also, usually all black or a smart shirt and trousers. Occasionally in the summer if your wedding allows for it.. I will pull out my FUNKIEST summer shirt!

  • Will our price ever change once booked?

No. The agreed price which is on your booking confirmation will always remain the same, Prices will be honoured even if my set prices alter in the time between your booking and your wedding date.

You can upgrade your package at any time also.

  • Can we make changes to the edits?

Minor legitimate changes that do not alter the structure of the film or photo album are plausible, these changes have to be requested within a week of receiving your work and are limited at 2 hours editing time.

Any time after this is charged at an hourly rate.

I am booked on my creative style and ALWAYS shoot with the couples best intentions at mind.
